Join us for a special poetry and film event to celebrate July’s approaching Mead Moon, also known in Celtic folklore as Claiming Moon or Herb Moon. New moons were once linked to the rabbit and the hare, as both symbols of fertility and rebirth, though a person who falls asleep under a new moon may become ‘Moonstruck!’

This event showcases works-in-progress by filmmaker Laura Sheeran and poet Annemarie Ní Churreáin, in discussion with Dani Gill, Director of The Lighthouse Project, drawing on inspiration from magical creatures, myths, rituals and time-travel stories of Coney Island.
