Cairde Young Curators have commissioned local artists Hannah Dobson and Adam Flynn from the BaHA collective and sound artist Owen Kilfeather to create unique audio tours of Sligo. The audience are free to take these tours in their own time, and they are available to download from the Cairde website here. These tours are a way of inviting people to take the time to look at the world around them in a fresh and new way.

Cairde Young Curators are Evelyn Davidson, Finn Raftery, Lucia Madden and Odhrán Smyth – facilitated by visual artist Andy Parsons with assistance from performing artist Sinead Sexton. They have been working together since March, developing a programme which responds to the changing world around them. The group has intricately mapped out areas of Sligo which hold significance to them and have invited a number of artists to respond to these sites. These audio tours were launched in conjunction with Culture Night on Friday September 18th and have been free to the public from that date forward.
