The Lost Bride is an exhibition and performance piece conceived by circus artist Aisling Ní Cheallaigh following her divorce. The aerial performance takes place three times over the course of the exhibition and explores the ending of a relationship, a catalyst of seismic change beyond our control.

Through a series of photographs taken by multiple photographers the exhibition follows the Lost Bride’s journey through grief and explores the loss of identity that inevitably comes with the end of a relationship and the search for a new one.

The aerial performance takes place upstairs and there is no lift which means unfortunately that this event is not accessible for people in wheelchairs or anyone with difficulty climbing stairs.
