Fionnuala Kennedy plays 5 string banjo in the old time style of the Appalachian Mountains. Together with long time collaborators Claudia Schwab (fiddle) and Sarah Jane Barry (guitar/mandolin), the trio will be performing traditional American songs and melodies that include murder ballads, lullabies, sometimes sweetly evocative harmonies, at other times driving train rhythms that will bring listeners on a musical journey through backwoods and mountains.
