FELIP CARBONELL’S RUMBA EXPERIENCE is a lively music show suitable to all ages and conducing to spontaneous dancing. The music performed is mainly Catalan Rumba, a musical style created and developed by the Catalan Gypsy Community in Barcelona City at the beginning of the 1960s. The show also includes musical incursions into other Latin music styles from Spain, the Spanish speaking part of the Caribbean and other parts of South America.
The band’s line-up includes some of the most experienced and talented musicians in the region: Eddie McFarlane on guitar, Eddie Lynch on keyboard, Eddie Lee on bass, Ken McDonald on percussion, Paula Riera on vocals and Felip Carbonell on guitar and vocals. They will make sure the audience leaves the venue with a big smile. The songs are sung in Spanish and Catalan but the high tempo rhythms will make you forget about language barriers and will transport you onto a Mediterranean holyday for a couple of hours
