A circus is rumoured to be somewhere in the forest on the outskirts of town. No one knows exactly where or who they are. Enter the forest as darkness starts to fall to discover more. Audiences are invited to an intimate sharing of early stage ideas for a larger episodic spectacle work that will be created by Twisted Lane Productions from 2023 - 2026. Prologue (work in progress) will explore ideas of the connection between circus and landscape, of community, transience and temporality.
Twisted Lane Productions is a Spectacle Theatre Company founded by Aoife and Mark Carry in 2021. They are Artists in Residence at Cairde through the European Festival Association’s Discovery Residency in partnership with Passage Festival (DK) and Oerol Festival (NL) and supported by Promenade and Irish Street Arts, Circus and Spectacle Network.
