Singer, writer, composer, multi-instrumentalist Nina Hynes released her 5th solo album ZAP! on Canadian label Minty Fresh in 2021. ZAP! was crowdfunded like her last album Goldmine.
She produces her music in her studio in Berlin. She is working on Beyond Binaries‘ with ‘fake anna’, a partnership with Berlin-based US choreographer FrankWillens and also a solo harp music collection of works.
She makes soundtracks and collaborates regularly with musicians, dancers, visual artists and film makers.
For her shows at Cairde Sligo Arts Festival, Nina will be joined by two respected and inspired multi-instrumentalists; her longtime collaborator fellow Dancing Sun, Sean Carpio and Romy, with whom she toured Europe supporting Glen Hansard in 2019.
It is one-off rare chance to catch them live.
