Ellie O’Neill is an emerging artist from Co. Meath. Her multifaceted practice includes working as a collaborator and soloist, and she is currently recording her debut album, due for release in the near future. Ellie’s primary solo artistic output focuses on songwriting that explores intimacy, love, loss, and queerness.
At Cairde, Ellie will perform with multi-instrumentalist and artist Sean Carpio. Sean's practice and interests are deep, diverse and never confined to one genre. The pair have been recording and arranging together in recent months, and Cairde will be their first live performance as a duo. Their collaboration is founded on a shared understanding of the importance of both play and presence in music.
