A fascinating mix of the classical and the modern, all involving the guitar, in a programme ranging from the cool jazz of Thelonius Monk to the Tango sensations of Astor Piazzolla.

Eilís O’Sullivan –  Award-winning Irish flautist Eilís O’Sullivan is much in demand as a solo, chamber and orchestral musician, having broadcast and toured extensively. Eilís is a lecturer at the CIT Cork School of Music, Ireland.

Jerry Creedon – Lecturer of Classical Guitar and founder of the Classical Guitar Studies Programme at the new state of the art CIT Cork School of Music. He has his own Jazz Ensemble, is a founding member of Irish Guitar Quartet, and
has performed nationally and internationally.

Ilse de Ziah is a composer, arranger and improviser. She performs with her classical “Scarlet String Quartet”, contemporary Australian ensemble “Ozmosis” and experimental “Quiet Music Ensemble”. She is principal cellist of the City of Cork Symphony Orchestra.

Manus Noble – In 2010, Irish guitarist Manus Noble graduated with first class honours from the Royal College of Music and was awarded a scholarship to continue his studies at the Royal Academy of Music. He has received Performance Awards by the Musicians Benevolent Fund, Countess of Munster and Ian Flemming Trust, and was accepted into the Park Lane Group Concert Series.
